Over the course of the last few months, I have been actively engaged in the realm of politics.  Like many others, I am frustrated, saddened, disheartened and confused about the results of the 2016 election.  However, if there is one positive outcome, it’s my desire to become more proactive than ever to electrify the public to be proactive and not immobile.  Various protests are occurring across the nation which are being mistaken as protests regarding the election results rather than protests speaking out against hate and practicing his/her constitutional rights.  Viral videos are being shared on social media, my own “friends” and family members are posting hateful messages regarding those unhappy with the results of the election.

The purpose of this website is to create a visualization of selected protests that have occurred in the City of Philadelphia.

I hope readers reach an understanding of the importance of making their voices be heard through their protected first amendment right.
